The history books wrote all about the great battle that happened between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort, where two spells, one simple and one deadly, were thrown at one another in an attempt to destroy the opposing force. An ancient prophecy foretold that one could not live while the other survived, and it was true. In the end, when the smoke cleared, it was the teenaged wizard who remained standing above the body of his mortal enemy, holding the Elder Wand tightly in his fist.
From that day on, things looked a little brighter. The Ministry was not corrupt from the inside out, and Hogwarts once again opened its doors to accept the students who required an education, or to finish theirs. Each of the trio and their friends married someone who loved them deeply, eventually starting families of their own. And one day, they too began to attend Hogwarts.
When the doors of Hogwarts were flooded with students, eventually a number that was too vast, four new friends banded together and formed another school, a short distance away from Hogwarts. Together; Layla Langoria, Daniel Dynasty, Cassandra Crane and Marius Maverick; decided to pick up where the old founders had left off, creating Phoenix Academy of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Like Hogwarts, they continued to keep many of the same classes, to ensure that anyone who attended either school would be given the fullest education possible. But history was bound to repeat itself, and Maverick, with Slytherin as his idol, stuck with the darker ways of life.
Despite this betrayal, the other three tried to keep things as normal as possible, encouraging the houses to get along, the schools to function together, including Durmstrang and Beauxbatons, the other schools still in operation. But when some unknown group attacked Hogwarts and slaughtered all they could find, the Ministry could no longer guarentee the safety of the staff or students and shut down the school for good.
With Hogwarts now a part of the past, the other three remaining schools were asked to take in those who had survived the attack, and with them, the families who had nowhere else to send their children. Darkness seemes to have once again fallen on the Wizarding World, at random, unseen moments of the day or night. No one knows who the attackers are, except that they call themselves the Dark Followers, ready to pick up where Voldemort left off.
As far as people can tell, there is no leader to this group, or at least there isn't yet. The Minister himself has decided that things needs to continue on as normal for the schools, at least until they can get enough information to take down those who oppose the natural law. By this time, the trio and most of their friends have died, leaving the world only with their decendants to pick up the pieces of this broken world.
Now...
There is definetely a large amount of trouble brewing in the near future, and it looks like history has chosen now to be repeated. Everyone is afraid to leave their homes for fear of being killed in the streets, but like Hogwarts before, they send their children to Phoenix, where they pray that they shall be safe from what lies ahead. The Order is slowly reforming, but the members of the Dark Followers look like they may have gotten their act together. And just like before, no one is going to take this lying down, including the students.
Someone's ready to create another DA, but at what expense? Can they learn from old mistakes? Or are those bound to be repeated as well? Now's the time to find out.
